Mayor Segarra Announces Online Database To Help Residents Locate Towed Vehicles

Hartford, Connecticut.- Today, Mayor Pedro E. Segarra announced that a database of vehicles towed during the snow storm Sunday, February 1, 2015 into Monday, February 2, 2015 has been added to the city’s open data portal to help residents locate their vehicles. The database lists the vehicles that were towed, the company that towed the vehicles, contact information for the tow companies and the address of the lots where the vehicles were placed.
“The goal here is to help residents whose vehicles were towed in an efficient manner and, at the same time, reduce the volume of calls to our dispatchers from folks who are looking for their cars,” Mayor Segarra said.
